Hello My names is Ron Monahan, I would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I moved to Las Vegas in July of 2001. We were living in Michigan in the suburbs of Detroit where I had been for 13 years and where my wife had been her entire life. I was raised in Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana as a kid and had enough of the Detroit area and wanted to get back out west. I wasn't really excited about any more cold weather or snow and since we had relatives here in the Las Vegas Valley it seemed to be a good place for relocating. |

I still get to enjoy the snow sitting in my home office looking out my window at snow capped Mt Charleston, and that is close enough for me. My wife and I are the parents of 4 girls and 1 boy. I can't forget my only grandson who lives in Michigan with his mom and dad. I do miss them but we fly them here in the summer. They all love it here and want to move here (at least that is what they tell dad). Real Estate for me is a great way of meeting people and making new friends. When both of those happen I know that I have done my job and more importantly have played a roll in making my clients happy.
I love being a real estate agent and my business depends on advertising but most of all referrals. I am a member of The National Association of Realtors, Nevada Association of Realtors, and the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. When I first moved to Las Vegas I did not know a whole lot of people so I built my business by helping people who were relocating to Nevada locate rentals. Then after 6 months to a year they returned and purchase a home from me. I am grateful to them for my success.
